Alliant Systems competed the construction and installation of mechanical and plumbing systems for a 450,000 square foot warehouse and office area in Troutdale, OR. The project, a retrofit of an existing warehouse facility, required extensive coordination of mechanical systems due to an elaborate package handling system and a pre-manufactured structure. The facility, built on a government superfund site, utilizes faced several construction challenges in developing on a property with prior contamination.

The massive facility rests on a network of 1,700 piles driven 65 feet into the ground. It also created a system of inlets, catch basins and underground storm drainpipes to treat runoff water leaving the site.
