Alliant Systems partnered with Fortis Construction to renovate mechanical systems in six existing buildings and construct one new classroom building for OMD at Camp Umatilla. Buildings collectively total 100,500 SF and feature a unique and innovative biomass heating system. Project is heated with a central plant hydronic heating system featuring biomass boiler systems housed in a new central plant building. Piping is distributed to buildings served by direct bury Uponor “Ecopex” piping systems, which then serve all new hydronic-based HVAC systems in the buildings.
