Service Accounts Receivable

ABOUT THE JOB:

Essential Responsibilities

Generate service work order billings; interact directly with service technicians to ensure timely processing of service billings
Keep track of customer PO numbers and billing requirements
Set up new work sites and new customers
Answer service AR customer inquiries; respond to inquiries promptly and in a professional manner
Service invoice collections
Account setups for new customers (third party websites)
Close out completed maintenance work orders on a monthly basis
File, organize and maintain all paperwork connected with above referenced tasks
Participate in cross training
Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

3+ years accounting experience
High school graduate or equivalent
Ability to effectively interact with customers, technicians, sales and office staff
Knowledge of the HVAC industry (preferred)
Experience working an accounting system and invoicing
Tech-savvy and can easily get used to new computer systems and software
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to accurately handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions
Ability to maneuver between fluctuating priorities
Research and troubleshooting abilities
Detailed oriented
Possess strong written and verbal communications skills
Project a friendly, professional attitude toward co-workers and customers
Ability to participate productively in a team environment
History of good employment attendance
