ABOUT THE JOB:

Essential Functions:

Research, prepare, and present proposals to new and existing customers that will generate profitable results
Schedule and track job progress
Project management of all phases of a project
Form in-depth partnerships with our customers and anticipate their needs
Confer with Alliant personnel and customers on all phases of project
Review contracts to evaluate compliance
Provide timely and constructive communication with staff and customers regarding project status and concern throughout all phases
Review design drawings, estimates and write change orders
Write subcontracts, purchase orders, correspondence field questions, and job write-ups
Complete job closeout procedures
Develop new clients
Document and follow up leads and referrals
Meet and exceed sales quotas and profit margins
Act in “responsible charge” role with clients; resolve problems, provide information and advice
Keep management abreast of market conditions and trends affecting industry

Qualification Requirements:

A practical understanding of mechanical systems is preferred but not required
Industry and sales experience preferred
Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere
Ability to adapt to flexible responsibilities
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Products
Ability to effectively interact with customers, technicians, sales, office and field personnel
Possess strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills
Possess qualities of an innovative thinker
Ability to consistently set goals and meet deadlines
Self-motivated
History of good employment attendance
A valid license and clean driving record is required
