Warehouse/Fleet Manager

ABOUT THE JOB:
The Warehouse/Fleet Manager will manage, organize, coordinate delivery and will identify missing, lost, or damaged materials. This position handle shipping and receiving, unloading, and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, purchasing, and keeping the warehouse stocked with essential equipment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and cost-effective flow of materials, equipment, and vehicles to support our teams in the field.
Warehouse

Supervision of delivery drivers and warehouse staff.

Coordination and scheduling of deliveries, pick-ups, and job clean off.
-
Receiving: Tools, equipment, and storage of.
-
Shipping.
-
Make deliveries as needed.
-
Data entry and maintenance of job addresses, project manager, job and PO numbers.
-
Freight claims.
-
Keep warehouse clean and tools organized with labeling.
-
Stage pallets as necessary for jobsite delivery.
Vehicles
-
Maintenance scheduling.
-
Accidents. First point of contact; insurance claims, auto body shops, finding loaner vehicle.

Registration renewals. Diesels and non-diesels, coordinate check with paperwork, emissions testing.

New vehicles. Coordinate vehicle branding, racking and/or cabinets if needed, plates, insurance, gas cards.

Maintain various vehicle spreadsheets and keep up to date.

Reconcile and manage fuel bill.

Maintain vehicle record folders.
-
Driver complaints and problematic drivers.
-
Identify vehicle safety issues, i.e. vehicle overloaded or unsafe mechanical problem. Know common mechanical failures for different vehicles

Participate in quarterly vehicle meetings.

Quarterly vehicle inspections.

Processing vehicle PO’s with vendors and in Spectrum.
Miscellaneous
-
Some building maintenance.

Help with labor in the office as needed.

Participate in safety committee.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrate a practical understanding of mechanical systems, construction, and customer service.

The ability to multitask.

Ability to interact with customers, field staff, management and office personnel; build constructive and effective relationships.

Possess excellent verbal, written, listening, persuasion and interpersonal skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft products.

History of good employment attendance.

Valid license and clean driving record required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Able to lift 30 pounds.

Physical requirements include: standing, bending, squatting, sitting, climbing ladders and driving.

Must be capable of working extended hour days when job/business needs demand.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.
