Warehouse/Delivery Driver

ABOUT THE JOB:
The Warehouse/Delivery Driver will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to assist with deliveries to and from local job sites and businesses. Materials, tool management and inventory assistance are all perfemed at the warehouse as well.

Deliver material, tools, parts and equipment to various jobsites in a 24’ flatbed truck or 16’ Box truck

Perform general physical activities to load and unload trucks, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment

Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment

Communicating with vendors as well as employees in the field and office

Check in, test, clean and neatly put away tools
-
Maintain organization and cleanliness in warehouse

Follow all driving rules and laws
-
Pick-up and check-in of deliveries from suppliers

Off-load LTL trucks with forklift
-
Perform other work-related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Prior stockroom, production, warehouse or inventory control experience
-
Good written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong sense of time organization and urgency
-
Forklift experience a plus
-
Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience
-
Ability to multitask and work independently
-
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
-
Ability to effectively interact with customers and co-workers
-
Competent in OSHA job site safety requirements
-
History of good employment attendance
-
A valid license and clean driving record are required

Excellent customer service
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
-
Ability to sit, stand, or walk throughout the day, bending, squatting, lift overhead up to 20 pounds, hand and wrist work, climbing ladders, carrying equipment and tools.

While at jobsites, ability to recognize and avoid hazardous conditions and observe safety practices.

Must be capable of working ten to twelve hour days when job/business needs demand.
