ABOUT THE JOB:

Alliant Systems is looking for a driven Mechanical Service Sales professional who’s passionate about building relationships and solving problems for commercial and industrial customers. In this role, you’ll partner with clients to identify HVAC service needs, craft tailored solutions, and drive growth across our portfolio. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Sales Generation:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial sectors.

  • Conduct cold calls, site visits, and presentations to potential clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups to assess client needs and address any concerns.

Technical Expertise:

  • Understand and effectively communicate the technical aspects of HVAC systems and services.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and competitor offerings.

Proposal Development:

  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.

  • Negotiate terms and close sales agreements.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.

  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience in HVAC sales, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
