Alliant Employees Honored by Oregon Tradeswomen

Two of our esteemed employees were honored at the Oregon Tradeswomen Blue-Collar Gala on Friday night, where members of our construction community came together to celebrate strength, resilience, and the inspiring stories of tradeswomen in our region.

Wanda Hall Legacy Award Finalist – Carly Rush, Safety Manager, SMART Local 16

Congratulations to Carly Rush on her nomination for the Wanda Hall Legacy Award. This award is given to those who are champions of others, serving as role models and mentors in our industry. We are thrilled at Carly’s nomination and how she has served in this way and helped lead the way for others.

“Carly is a non-stop advocate for women and youth in the trades. Outside of being a Sheet Metal Safety Manager, she is committed to supporting other women to join the ranks and is heavily involved in her community.”

Woman on the Rise Award Winner – Amelia Templeton, Apprentice Plumber, UA Local 290

Alliant’s Amelia Templeton was awarded with the Woman on the Rise award! This award is given to tradeswomen with an exceptional work ethic, who demonstrate leadership, and are contributing to our industry. Her peers see her as a rising leader in her career and community.

“Even as the youngest member of the crew, Amelia is a strong, hardworking, and reliable team member beloved by everyone who works with her. Amelia is known to uplift her coworkers and step in as a leader without being asked. Being a role model for women in the trades, she gives her time to recruit and mentor other women in her community and leads by example.”

Congratulations to all the women honored at the event. We can’t wait to see where their careers take them! For more information about Oregon Tradeswoman, visit https://oregontradeswomen.org/
