Hillsboro Intermodal Transit Facility

Alliant Systems teamed with Skanksa and LRS Architects to design and build the Hillsboro Intermodal Transit Facility parking garage. Located next to Hillsboro Medical Center the facility has nearly 800 parking spaces, including 13 that have charging stations for electric vehicles, as well as 35 secured spaces for bicycles that include showers and lockers. The facility also boasts 20,000 SF of ground floor commercial space, which is mainly used by Portland Community College’s Hillsboro Center. The garage was awarded Best Design of a Parking Facility by the International Parking Institute in 2012 and achieved a DJC Top Project Award in 2011.
