Campus Renovations

Alliant Systems provided full design-build mechanical and plumbing services for renovation for 21,000 SF of existing space and a new 7,000 SF addition to Lewis and Clark College’s student services center. Renovation scope included new cafe kitchen and dining areas, reconfiguration of administration and office spaces, and retrofit of outdoor seating and fire pit areas.

The project addition used an innovative cross-laminated timber framed structure with building systems detailed and coordinated for exposed installation. HVAC scope included highly-efficient VRF heat/cool system with de-coupled heat recovery ventilation to serve new classrooms, gathering spaces, and media labs. Plumbing scope included new rain drainage, expansion of domestic water heating plant, and services to cluster of (12) single-user toilet rooms.

Alliant was teamed with Bremik Construction and ZGF Architecture.
