The Academic and Student Recreation Center (ASRC) building, is a condominium partnership between Portland State University and the City of Portland. Located on the PSU Urban Plaza, this six-story, 175,000 square foot facility includes natatorium, gyms, classrooms, administrative offices and 40,000 square feet of temperature and humidity-controlled storage for City of Portland Archives. The Archives meet the national archival storage standards, which include environmental control, fire safety, and preservation guidelines. The project achieved LEED Gold Certification.
