Service Coordinator

ABOUT THE JOB:
Essential Responsibilities:
The Service Coordinator receives initial phone contact with customers relating to plumbing or HVAC service needs. The Service Coordinator works closely with service technicians, customers, and field personnel to schedule maintenance or service requests in a timely, attentive manner. Maintain Service Technicians' daily schedules, dispatching calls and scheduling return trips all while providing customers and coworkers excellent customer service.
The Service Coordinator performs the following:

Communicate with customers regarding maintenance, repairs or service needs

Dispatch service technicians

Assist with coordinating skilled labor for construction warranty

Receive and schedule work requests from Sales Department
-
Assist technicians with any office related needs
-
Enter all customer contact information and service requests into computer system as it occurs

Assist technicians with time entry when needed
-
Evaluate and prioritize work and service requests on a continual basis
-
Maintain and update computerized scheduling system in real time
Requirements:
-
Ability to effectively interact with customers, technicians, sales and office staff
-
Knowledge of the HVAC industry (preferred)
-
Ability to work well with others as part of a team and demonstrate confidence when issuing directives to the service crew

A willingness to stick to a strict work and lunch time schedule

Tech-savvy and can easily get used to new computer systems and software

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to accurately and calmly handle multiple priorities with frequent interruptions

Ability to maneuver between fluctuating priorities

Detailed oriented
-
Possess strong documentation skills

Good written and verbal communications skills

Proficient in keyboarding and with Microsoft products

Knowledge of general accounting practices and procedures

High school graduate or equivalent
-
History of good employment attendance and punctuality
Must be willing to work extended hour days when business needs demand.
